Wondering where our studio name came from?
The “hero’s journey” is an archetypal story structure you may recognize from contemporary movies like Star Wars and The Matrix:
An ordinary person receives a call to adventure. They refuse at first, then meet a mentor who helps them cross the threshold. (Think: Obi Wan Kenobi, Morpheus.) The hero is thwarted by enemies and other challenges, but finally emerges victorious with boons they can bestow on others. (Like, you know, saving the world.)
